A Cruel Hoax – Lets change

My inbox is full of petitions and blogs – wanting changes – wanting votes.

And wanting money. And every government in the world is wanting. They are all in debt.

“If governments everywhere are in debt, who are they in debt to? The answer is that they are in debt to private banks. The “cruel hoax” is that governments are in debt for money webofdebtbookcreated on a computer screen, money they could have created themselves.”

This quote is from Ellen Brown’s the Web of Debt, where  she also quotes Henry Liu, “when we wake up to this fact of the current monetary scheme our entire economic world view will need to be re-ordered, “just as physics was subject to re-ordering when man’s world view changed with the realization that the earth is not stationary, nor is it the center of the universe”. The hoax is that there is virtually no “real” money in the system, only debts. Except for coins, which are issued by the government and make up less than one ten-thousandth of the money supply, the entire US money supply now consists of debt to private banks, for money they created with accounting entries on their books. It is all done by sleight of hand; and like a magicians trick, we have to see it many times before we realize what is going on. But when we do, it changes everything.”

When we do – it changes everything.

We can make progress to wellbeing. There are ways forward that make sense, are not particularly difficult. The disasters of austerity, the distractions of referendum, the destructiveness of wars, the damage to our planet, can all be dealt with when our resources are not being drained by an appallingly erroneous man-made monetary system.

HEALTH WARNING: When you get this you have to share. You have to start telling your representatives: Examine the way money is created; Take this power back to ourselves and our governments, of any stripe. I would love to her what sort of reception you get – please comment and let me know.
