It certainly feels like holiday, though quite unlike the usual kind of Northern Ireland family holiday. First, it’s the first time I’ve been anywhere for ages. Second it is hot and sunny. I’ve just had a couple of days with my sister, went to swim at Helen’s Bay and have walked a lovely dog that belongs to my niece at Ballymenoch Park. The trees there are quite wonderful, old, moss grown, and interesting fungi. I think Luna, the dog enjoyed it too. First photo is Irene’s bungalow. Tonight I will be with my other sister and then we will spend some time on the North Coast. Looking forward to it, even if the un-Irish weather goes, and we go back to walks to keep warm with jerseys.
